What I Learned Yesterday #2

In general not much.

  1. Bitcoin is a protocol, set of rules. It is really hard to mine. Every new block appears approximately every 10 minutes. All bitcoins will be mined near 2140. Total amount of bitcoins possible – 21 million. Every 4 years reward for mining is halving (this is one of the principles of bitcoin). Next decline will take place in 2020. Probability to mine new block is low as hell – 0,00000001% (not sure about amount of zeros though :D). Also there are a lot of cool info about all this here.
  2. Sometimes people ask questions, but don’t listen to an answer to those questions. Why would you do that?
